With more than 34 years of experience in the financial services industry, Virginia C. Darnel brings a deep commitment to client care, relationship management, and personalized service. Her career began at Beneficial Savings Bank in Pennsylvania and continued in Delaware, where she joined Delaware Trust Company in 1992.
Over the years, Virginia successfully navigated multiple institutional transitions—including Meridian Bank, CoreStates Bank, and First Union Bank—gaining valuable experience across a range of financial services. She later joined Christiana Bank & Trust Company, where she expanded her experience in trust, estate, and wealth management services.
Following the acquisition of Christiana Bank & Trust by Wilmington Savings Fund Society in 2010, Virginia retired as Vice President after 25 years of distinguished service.
Known for her exceptional ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, Virginia has always prioritized delivering the highest level of customer service. She now brings her passion and expertise to Harris Asset Management, where she serves as a Director of Client Relationships, continuing to support clients with the same dedication and professionalism that has defined her career.
